Fortunate enough, my friend found the best butter, and I could tell that it was the best from how she said it, “Abbie I've found it, the solution to our skin,” she said, and she took the Sanura Gold body butter from her bag, and applied on her hand, “ My God just feel this, I applied in the morning and I still feel moisturized, girl you should try it.” I tried it right there, and I was impressed by the feeling it left on the skin. So, I went on to purchase it, and here is an honest review of Sanura Gold Body Butter.
Before we get into it, what are the things you should look for in a body butter before you purchase it?
The key thing that you should look for in any body butter is the ingredients. The best body butter has shea butter, mango butter or cocoa butter as part of the ingredients. All these kinds of butter are responsible for the healing that your skin experiences as you use the body butter, and it gets smoother and softer.
What I liked about Sanura Body Butter
1. Ingredients
Sanura Gold body butter has ingredients tailored for all skin types. Furthermore, the ingredients are good for nourishing the skin deeply and leaving a soothing feeling as you apply the skin. The butter has shea butter, cocoa butter, jojoba oil, Vitamin E, olive oil and vegetable glycerin. The fact that it has glycerin in it means that you do not need to add an illuminating lotion; Sanura Gol d butter has already covered that. Moreover, it is natural and greatly beneficial for your skin—heals the skin.
2. Scent.
The scent here is luxurious and heavenly; I'd sniff my skin all day. It's a warm, sweet and rich scent. It is a more natural and subtle scent that stays all day long, even though it's not as strong.
3.Texture
The butter glides perfectly and easily on the skin and melts seamlessly on the skin. You can literally feel it getting to the exact depth of the skin, and it illuminates the skin perfectly, meaning you do not need any lotion. It leaves your skin supple and deeply nourished, and you can feel this effect on it immediately after you try it.
4. Skin type
This is not even for formality. Sanura Gold Body Butter is favorable for all skin types, and I mean, it works for all skin types: dry, extra dry, normal, and oily. I tested this using my skin and my friend's skin; mine is dry, hers is extra dry skin, and the butter lasted the whole day on your skin.

This was also the favorite thing about Sanura Gold body butter; it lasts 10+ hours. I do not have to carry a small tube of lotion around in case my skin loses the hydration like I used to do before. Now, my skin stays moisturized, supple and hydrated all day as I run my endless errands.

A 350ML currently goes for Ksh 900, and I feel this is highest-quality because it will last close to four months since you only need a little of it, and it will be enough for your body. A little calculation (900 divided by 4) that is Ksh 225/= per month. That is pretty fair, considering the fact that your skin will illuminate the whole day.
What I did not like
1. The Packaging
As a person who was used to applying lotion, I was used to a pump bottle, which made sure that nothing else came in contact with the contents in the bottle. But for this specific body butter, it's a cute container with a nice lid that you open fully before you use it. Meaning that there are minimal chances of some dirt falling on the butter. However, if you are careful enough, there are zero chances for dirt to get in. Also, the body butter is heavier than other body butter and lotions, so it would be impractical to expect it to come in a pump bottle.
