Our Project:
My agency set out to Produce an About video for WPS, the country's largest client divergent assessment services provider, for supporting hospitals and schools to develop education systems which fit the learners custom need.
We hired Start Motion Media when we failed in our initial attempt to do the video internally - and brought on Michael and his team for a fractional CMO role within the client account, on a six-month contract. Through their support we were able to Produce a huge series of Vignette videos of employees, while also creating the Primary "signature internal story" and "change communication" for WPS Comms Dept, which conveyed the message to the company at large.
This amazing, next-generation "about us" business videio, let's the client's employees and investors to get to know the CEO directly, to better understand the "why" of the company.
Start Motion Media was referred to me by Startups in the Silicon Valley / San Francisco / New York business ecosystem.Their Los Angeles, Denver, and New York office was also instrumental in the creation of all assets, as our team was also spread across the country.
They have 10 Employees and are an awesome small studio with amazing rates, considering the staff and labor service.
The Marketing Director did a spectacular job of bringing the client vision to life and showing all of us what no one could previously suggestion on paper. The directors cut far exceed our expectation, and by smartly removing content, the Director was able to more effectively relate the point to the viewer, in a shorter runtime - a task we were unable to conceive of on our own.
Start Motion Media went in to clean up the work on the initial edit (from our previous internal production failure) and as they endeavored to replace previous team, they also renovated the script. Then the Marketing Directors brought their mojo to bear.
The Client was thrilled by the output and it only needed spec revisions for the production file. The company owner is personally involved and He / They really capture the essence of the company, and I'm surprised that the entire process was able to occur remotely.  Start Motion Media is just as adept at marketing as they is editing together a compelling video. I had no idea how important marketing your campaign is before you launch it, and Start Motion Media gave me concrete steps for success that totally worked. Thanks to their video company help, my campaign reach 100% of its goal in just over a week! I was also surprised by how helpful and directorial they was when helping me tease out my story. they interviewed me and transcribed the whole thing for spoken content for the video, and the questions they was asking were so insightful; they really helped me understand what I was asking from my community of supporters, and what they would get out of supporting me. Lastly, I appreciated that if I would freeze up during filming and forget what to say, Start Motion Media was very gentle but firm about prompting me with pieces of my own story/words from our interview to keep the flow of the narrative going.
