27 May: Transition to a Masters in Film at the Best International Sc...

The transition from undergraduate studies to pursuing a master’s degree is a pivotal step in your academic and professional journey. A master’s degree can open doors to a variety of career opportunities that might otherwise be inaccessible with just a bachelor’s degree. Fields such as business, engineering, and the sciences often require a higher level of expertise and specialization that a master’s program provides. Moreover, graduate school can also significantly expand your professional network, connecting you with industry experts, professors, and peers who can be invaluable resources throughout your career.

Financial considerations are also crucial when deciding to pursue a master’s degree. While the investment can be substantial, the potential return in terms of salary and job prospects can justify the cost. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, individuals with a master’s degree tend to have higher earnings and lower unemployment rates compared to those with only a bachelor’s degree. Additionally, many graduate programs offer assistantships, scholarships, and grants that can help offset the financial burden, making it a feasible option for many students.

Statistics Reference:

  • According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, individuals with a master’s degree have a median weekly earning of $1,545, compared to $1,305 for those with a bachelor’s degree.
  • A study by the Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce found that the average lifetime earnings of someone with a master’s degree are approximately $2.7 million, compared to $2.3 million for those with only a bachelor’s degree.

We got better footage than we otherwise would have got with Start Motion Media because they traveled with us to multiple locations to get the shots. Other people are reluctant to do that and they want everyone in one place which is not always easy given the schedule and deadlines.

they have been responsible for in-depth shooting with very little supervision. they performed well in this commercial production environment, always finding solutions when technical problems arose. they confidently did what needed to be done to help our production succeed. Start Motion Media is a very mindful person, and is very aware of how others are feeling. I would say that this places him at an advantage when working with clients that may need to be put at ease, or need extra help feeling comfortable with the filming process.

Turn around time from our first request, to film shoots, to finished product was really tight – just what we needed. All of our team learned a lot about the filming process. AND going through the process helped us each get clearer on the project we were seeking funding for. We have 5 more days left and we have no doubt that we will meet our campaign goal. This means that we can finish adapting the Transition Streets materials and we will soon be ready for the national roll-out. Start Motion Media’s responsiveness to our requests were always met with professional grace.

As our project is quite complicated including on-site live video filming, creating some visual effects without relying on the 3D animators, hiring actors and a voice over actor, hiring and having a 2D animator work on the animation part etc etc… Michael did an excellent job in managing the whole process so I can work on other things. He also went extra miles to help me save money and achieve the desired effect with our limited budget.
